There actually is an explanation for this. If you order something in a drive-thru, and they don’t currently have any but will soon (for example, if they’re in the middle of cooking a new batch), they’ll ask you to park and then they’ll bring it out to you as soon as it’s ready. It’s happened to me a few times.

As im sure most of you have never had the pleasure of working at mcdicks the sign in the picture is used to identify parked orders from the drive through so mcdonalds dosnt mess up your food more than they already did
